Projects designed to make therapy more accessible for those who might otherwise be left without support
From time to time, I offer short-term therapy places free of charge. These contributions reflect my commitment to balancing the rhythm of giving and receiving, and to keeping with the flow of life. I know from experience that supporting others in this way nourishes me too.
As a woman and an immigrant, I feel a deep connection to people who carry similar challenges. In the past, I created No Borders Therapy, a project born when the conflict in Gaza escalated. What began as offering two free places quickly grew into a collective effort: together with other therapists, we supported 35 London-based clients impacted by the genocide. This showed me the power of community and the difference that even small acts of care can make.
Current Project: Free Therapy for the Unseen Middle
Right now, I am offering 6 free sessions to one woman at a time living in London. This project is aimed at women who are employed and earning between £20k–£30k annually — a group I call the Unseen Middle. Too often, this population is neglected by volunteer projects: they earn too much to access subsidised support, but therapy still feels out of reach.
This initiative is especially for:
Single mothers, or women covering bills on their own
Women who are immigrants or children of immigrants
Those who have had therapy before and had a positive experience, but can’t currently afford it
I will work with one woman for 6 weekly sessions. Once that course is completed, I will reopen applications and invite someone else into the project.
Applications open periodically. When they are open, the link will be shared on my Instagram bio.
