Projects designed to make therapy more accessible for those who might otherwise be left without support

From time to time, I offer short-term therapy places free of charge. These contributions reflect my commitment to balancing the rhythm of giving and receiving, and to keeping with the flow of life. I know from experience that supporting others in this way nourishes me too.

As a woman and an immigrant, I feel a deep connection to people who carry similar challenges. In the past, I created No Borders Therapy, a project born when the conflict in Gaza escalated. What began as offering two free places quickly grew into a collective effort: together with other therapists, we supported 35 London-based clients impacted by the genocide. This showed me the power of community and the difference that even small acts of care can make.

Current Project: Free Therapy for the Unseen Middle

Right now, I am offering 6 free sessions to one woman at a time living in London. This project is aimed at women who are employed and earning between £20k–£30k annually — a group I call the Unseen Middle.

This project is especially for women in London who:

  • Earn between £20k and £30k a year

  • Are primarily responsible for covering their own bills

  • Are immigrants or children of immigrants

Too often, women in this income bracket fall through the cracks: they earn too much to access subsidised services, but private therapy remains out of reach.

I will work with one woman for 6 weekly sessions. Once that course is completed, I will reopen applications and invite someone else into the project.

Applications open periodically. When they are open, the link will be shared on my Instagram bio.

The original messages include a session confirmation for a therapy appointment, a link to a hate crime reporting guide, and a mention of an emotional emergency toolbox. Overlaid text says, 'No borders therapy #results Thanks for the feedback' and a message expressing gratitude for finding a caring therapist.
